Wilmington, N.C. – Clemson women’s golf opened postseason play Thursday at the ACC Women’s Golf Championship, sitting in sixth place after 36 holes of stroke play at Porters Neck Country Club.
The Tigers posted an opening-day total of even par, positioning themselves inside the top six and in contention for a match-play berth heading into Friday’s final round.
Top-ranked Stanford leads the field at 23-under, with SMU and Duke tied for second at 12-under. NC State (-9) and Wake Forest (-4) round out the top five.
ON THE SCORECARD
Clemson leaned on balanced scoring throughout the lineup, with all five players contributing across the opening 36 holes.
Sydney Roberts led the Tigers, finishing the day at 1-under and tied for 14th individually after rounds of even-par and 1-under. She totaled five birdies on the day, providing a steady presence atop the Clemson lineup.
Isabella Rawl turned in Clemson’s low round of the day, firing a 70 (-2) in the opening round to highlight the Tigers’ early scoring. She sits at 4-over through two rounds.
Aitana Tuesta and Sarah Uebelhart each posted 1-over totals through 36 holes and are tied for 30th, delivering key counting scores in both rounds.
Juliette Demeaux also stands at 4-over to round out the Clemson lineup.
As a team, Clemson found early success on the front nine, combining for 16 birdies across the opening two rounds to help anchor its position inside the top six.

The championship features 54 holes of stroke play, with the top six teams advancing to match play. The top two teams earn byes into the semifinals, while teams seeded third through sixth will compete in Saturday morning quarterfinals for a spot in the afternoon semifinals.
