CLEMSON, SC – The No. 7 seed Clemson Women’s Tennis team (17-7, 7-5 ACC) is set to compete against the No. 10 seed Notre Dame (17-8, 6-7 ACC) on Thursday, April 16 at 6 p.m. at the Cary Tennis Park in the third round of the ACC Tournament.
The Tigers will be on Bank Two for the match-up, which will have a live stream and live stats for all to watch.
During the regular season, the Tigers triumphed over Notre Dame 4-1. The win marked the 10th win in program history against the Irish.
Ahead of the ACC Tournament, multiple Tigers were named to the ITA Rankings. The team checks in at No. 24 nationally. Freshman Rinon Okuwaki moved to No. 69 in singles with a record of 17-3. In doubles, Senior Jade Groen and Okuwaki checked in at No. 43 in the nation. The duo is coming off a 7-6 (4) win over Syracuse to close their regular season and move to 11-8.
