CLEMSON, S.C. — Former Clemson All-American Jacob Bridgeman shot a final round 76 on Sunday and finished tied for 41st at the 90th Masters Tournament in Augusta, Ga. He finished with a 72-hole score of 290, tied with Justin Thomas, Sepp Straka, Kristoffer Reitan and Nick Taylor.

Bridgeman made birdies on the eighth and ninth holes to make the turn at one-over-par 37, but he had three bogeys and no birdies on the back nine. He finished with rounds of 71-74-69-76 for his 290 total, two-over-par for the four days.

Bridgeman’s 290 total tied for the fourth best 72-hole score by a former Clemson golfer. The record remains 282 by Dillard Pruitt in 1992. Kyle Stanley had a 283 total in 2019, Jonathan Byrd had an even-par 288 in 2003 and Byrd also had a 290 in 2012.

Making his first appearance at the Masters, Bridgeman became the fourth former Clemson golfer to make the cut in his first career Masters, the first since Jonathan Byrd in 2003. The best finish by a former Clemson golfer at the Masters is eighth-place by Byrd in 2003.

Bridgeman returns to the PGA Tour next week when he plays in the 2026 RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Got Links. Bridgeman enters the Heritage ranked third on the FedEx Cup points list.
