CLEMSON, S.C. - No. 22 Clemson Women’s Tennis (16-4, 6-2 ACC) completed the weekend sweep with a 4-0 win over No. 32 Miami (11-4, 6-2 ACC) on Sunday afternoon in their final matches at Duckworth Family Tennis Facility for the 2026 regular season.
The No. 83 pair of Senior Romana Cisovska and Sophomore Talia Neilson-Gatenby raced out to a 6-0 win over the pair of Sofia Rocchetti and Sebastianna Scilipoti on court two in a match that took just 22 minutes. A back-and-forth match on court one was one by the last point of the doubles match as the No. 29 pair of Freshman Rinon Okuwaki and Senior Jade Groen clinched the doubles point for the Tigers 6-4 over Raquel Gonzalez and Dominika Podhajecka. Closing out doubles with a three-match sweep was Sophomores Artemis Aslanisvili and Sophie Clayton with a 6-4 win over Maria Vargas and Daria Volosova on court three.
Seniors Groen and Cisovska showed out on senior day claiming the first two singles points of the match for the Tigers. Cisovska raced out to a 6-2, 6-1 win over Sebastianna Scilipoti on court three to take the first singles point and put Clemson up 2-0 on Miami. Following closely behind was Groen taking down No. 101 Sofia Rocchetti 6-2, 6-2 on court two to give the Tigers a 3-0 lead. After clinching match point on Friday against Florida State Aslanisvili gave everyone deja vu, claiming match point on court five with a 7-5, 6-2 win over Dominika Podhajecka on court five to claim the 4-0 win over the Hurricanes.
UP NEXT: Clemson concludes the 2026 regular season with a four-match away trip, starting at No. 5 North Carolina on Friday, April 3rd at 5 p.m. The Tigers make a quick turnaround and head over to No. 24 Duke on Saturday, April 4 at 12 p.m.
