Clemson, S.C. – Clemson women’s basketball senior guard Mia Moore has been named as a Finalist for the 2026 Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Association (WBCA) Coaches’ All-America Team.
Moore looks to be the third Clemson player to receive WBCA All-American Honors, the first since Jessica Barr in 1994, and the third in program history (Barbara Kennedy-Dixon, 1982). Her inclusion as a Regional Finalist comes two weeks after being named Second Team All-ACC.
MIA MOORE SEASON HIGHLIGHTS
- Averaging 13.5 points per game, 5.4 rebounds per game, and 4.6 assists per game this season.
- Six Double-doubles, 23 double-figure scoring games, two 30-plus point performances, three 10-plus rebounding games, 15 games of 5-plus assists, and a trio of 3-plus steal games.
- Moore’s back-to-back 30-point performances (30 vs. Boston College, Feb. 8 & 31 vs. Georgia Tech, Feb. 12) are the first time that a Clemson Player has scored 30-plus points in back-to-back wins since Barbara Kennedy Dixon did so during the 1981-82 season.
- In the overtime win against Wake Forest (Jan. 18), Moore (16 points) scored 10 points in overtime, which marked a new program record for points scored by an individual in overtime.
- Mia Moore became the 32nd player in program history to score her 1,000th point in a Clemson jersey at Georgia Tech (Jan. 11).
- Nominated by the ACC to attend the NCAA Above the Rim Summit. The Summit will be held April 2-5 in Phoenix, Ariz. The Above the Rim Summit helps prepare women’s basketball standouts for professional sports careers.
- Named Second Team All-ACC, the first Tiger of Shawn Poppie’s tenure to receive All-ACC Honors.
The WBCA NCAA Division I Awards Committee will meet in Phoenix, in conjunction with the annual WBCA Convention, to select the 2026 Wade Trophy winner and the 10-member 2026 WBCA NCAA Division I Coaches’ All-America team. Both will be announced on April 2.
