Clemson, S.C. - Clemson women’s golf returns to action this week at the Briar’s Creek Invitational, hosted by the College of Charleston at Briar’s Creek Golf Club in Johns Island, South Carolina.

The two-day, 54-hole event begins Monday with 36 holes of continuous play starting at 8:30 a.m., followed by the final round Tuesday morning with an 8:45 a.m. shotgun start. The tournament will be contested on a par-72 layout measuring 6,152 yards.

ON THE SCORECARD

Clemson enters the week coming off a fifth-place finish at the Gators Invitational in Gainesville, Florida. The Tigers posted a three-round total of 869 (+29), finishing just one stroke behind Miami in a tightly contested middle of the leaderboard.

The result continued a season that has featured strong consistency from Clemson, which has now recorded five top-five finishes in eight tournaments. Sydney Roberts and Aitana Tuesta led the Tigers in Gainesville, each finishing tied for 13th after posting three consecutive rounds of 71.

Clemson’s lineup at the Paradise Invitational will include:

Sydney Roberts, Aitana Tuesta, Ivy Schulze, Sarah Uebelhart, Isabella Rawl, Juliette Demeaux and Keya Naik.

Clemson will be paired with NC State and Purdue for the opening round, beginning at the 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.

TOURNAMENT FIELD

The Briar’s Creek Invitational features one of the strongest fields Clemson has faced this spring, with several programs from Power Four conferences competing in the 15-team event.

The tournament field includes Clemson, Boston College, College of Charleston, East Carolina, Georgia, Iowa, Maryland, Miami, Michigan State, NC State, Notre Dame, Penn State, Purdue, SMU and UCF.

ABOUT THE EVENT

The Briar’s Creek Invitational returns for its 13th edition in 2026 and continues to attract many of the nation’s top collegiate programs. Briar’s Creek Golf Club provides a unique test in the Lowcountry, combining coastal winds with strategic bunkering and natural marshland hazards. The course will play as a par-72 layout measuring 6,152 yards for the tournament.

The event also features two historic trophies. The team champion receives a silver bowl crafted in 1934 in Sheffield, England, while the individual medalist earns a silver cup made in London in 1862.
