NCAA INDOOR TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS RESULTS

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. Gladys Chepngetich became Clemson’s 12th NCAA Champion overall and sixth to do so in the indoor season Saturday evening in Fayetteville, Ark.

Chepngetich won the women’s 800m with a time of 2:00.01. She is the first Tiger to win the event at Indoor Nationals since Natoya Goule who won on the same day (March 14) in 2015 at the same facility.

Shantae Foreman first distance in the women’s triple jump was 13.80m / 45’ – 03.50”, which led the competition for five rounds. In the sixth round, a jumper out of Kansas State placed with a distance 13.84m / 45’ – 05.00”, leading to Foreman earning second.

Oneka Wilson rounded out the day two competitors, finishing seventh in the women’s 60m hurdles with a time of 8.11 seconds.

The three women combined for a total of 20 points, placing 10th overall in the nation. Chepngetich, Foreman and Wilson all earned First Team All-American for their performances, while Grant Holliday, Jalen Johnson and Brian Kweyei earned Second Team All-American.

  • First Place | Chepngetich – 2:01.56 (Qualified for finals)

 

Up Next

Most the Clemson track & field program will head down to Orlando, Fla. for the Black & Gold Invitational, hosting by UCF on Friday, March 20 and Saturday, March 21.

Chepngetich, Foreman, Wilson and Clemson alum Goule will be competing in the 2026 World Athletics Indoor Championships Kujawy Pomorze next weekend, March 20-22. The meet will be held at Kujawsko Pomorska Arena in Toruń, Poland. Foreman, Wilson and Goule will represent Jamaica and Chepgnetich will compete for Kenya.
