CLEMSON OPENER FLASH RESULTS

CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson’s track & field program concluded the Clemson Opener on Friday with 17 personal records, eight performances that cracked Clemson’s all-time top 10 lists, 31 top three finishes and eight wins.

Kimeka Smith won the women’s shot put with a throw of 15.06m / 49’–05.00”. Her mark placed her seventh on Clemson’s women’s indoor shot put all-time list and set a new freshman record in the event, previously held by Olympian and Clemson Hall of Famer Jamine Moton.

Grant Holliday recorded a fourth-place finish in the men’s 300m (32.86 seconds), the second-fastest performance in program history.

In the women’s 300m, five of the eight competitors set personal records. Highlights included Shanque Williams (third place, 37.67 seconds, now third all-time on Clemson’s indoor women’s 300m all-time top 10 list), Aniyah Kitt (fifth place, 37.92 seconds), Shantae Foreman (sixth place, 37.99 seconds, now eighth all-time on Clemson’s indoor women’s 300m all-time top 10 list), Sade Gray (seventh place, 38.37 seconds, now ninth all-time on Clemson’s indoor women’s 300m all-time top 10 list) and Oneka Wilson (13th place, 40.02 seconds).
