CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson men’s soccer (8-4-3, 4-2-2 ACC) returns to Historic Riggs Field on Wednesday after earning the No. 4 seed in the 2025 ACC Tournament. The Tigers play host to the 13-seed, Pitt (5-6-5, 1-4-3 ACC), in a 7:00 p.m. ACC Tournament First Round game, set to be shown live on ACCNX.
The Tigers earned a hard-fought draw vs Virginia Tech on Friday night, 3-3. Wahabu Musah netted his sixth goal of the season to get the offense started for Clemson. Abdou Mane scored his first career goal to give the Tigers a 2-1 lead over the Hokies. Mason Jimenez netted the final goal of the night for the Tigers and his first of the season on a penalty kick.
Pitt drew 0-0 at Louisville on Friday night, to finish the regular season at 5-6-5. Earlier this fall, Clemson and Pitt squared off at Historic Riggs Field, with the Panthers taking a 1-0 lead. Clemson responded, however, with a brace from Ransford Gyan to go ahead 2-1 heading into halftime. Pitt got one back but Nathan Richmond scored in the 80′ to give the Tigers the 3-2 win over Pitt.
