CLEMSON, S.C. — Several Tigers put on impressive performances on the first day of the Clemson Invitational, with three top-10 times in school history set. In just the second meet of the 2022-23 indoor season, Clemson is showing great strides and has started off the campaign with great promise.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Tarees Rhoden set the No. 4 mark in school history with a 2:24.50 time in the 1000 meter.
  • Marie Forbes set the No. 2 mark in school history with a 21.15 meter weight throw. Entering the weekend, that mark would be the fourth-best in the nation this season.
  • Victor Ndiwa moved into the all-time top-10 with a 4:05.76 mile time, 10th best in school history.
  • Kiara Grant improved upon her 60 meter time at the Clemson Opener with a 7.26 second finish, moving into 5th in school history.
  • Lashanna Graham PR’d in the 600, running a 1:30.87 which was second best in the field.
  • Daniel Cope won the men’s weight throw with a 20.89 meter toss
