Winston-Salem, N.C. – The Clemson Men’s Tennis team kicked off the Wake Forest Invitational on Friday, opening the tournament 4-1 in doubles.
Mike Agee and Tim Pitts were the only team compete twice in doubles play, picking up wins in both contests. Teodor Giusca/Carlos Kelaidis and Diaz Freire/Liu also snagged victories in their lone doubles matches of the day.
Kelaidis kept his hot streak going into singles action as he earned a pair of victories to improve 4-0 overall. Additionally, Jacob Jahn and Guisca remain unbeaten in singles headed into day two of competition, with Jahn notching a pair of victories and Guisca tallying one.
Tournament play continues tomorrow from Wake Forest at 9 a.m. EST.
