Clemson, S.C. – Three months, six tournaments and 156 total matches later, the Clemson men’s tennis program wrapped up its fall season on November 10th at the Wake Forest Invitational. The Tigers finish the fall with a combined record of 65-44 in singles and 25-22 in doubles.
A pair of Tigers concluded the tournament season with double-digit marks in the singles wins column. Jacob Jahn notched 14 victories in 16 appearances, which included a seven-match win streak to close out the fall. During that span, Jahn dropped just one set and in his final match of the season, the sophomore was crowned the champion of the B singles flight.
After a 1-1 start to the season, Carlos Kelaidis also went on seven-match win streak that spanned from the end of September to the middle of October. The senior the fall with a 10-3 record.
In doubles, Gabriel Diaz Friere and Yizhou Liu looked impressive, posting 10-4 marks. During the height of the season, the pair notched five victories in a row, which included wins over opponents from ACC foes Miami and Georgia Tech.
Additionally, two Tigers made their debuts this fall as junior Jaxon Wiley and freshman Tim Pitts made 15 and eight appearances, respectively.
