CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson men’s tennis team will play host to Georgia Tech on Wednesday, Apr. 9 at the Hoke Sloan Tennis Center. The match is slated to begin at 2:30 p.m.

The Tigers are 19-9 overall and 3-2 in ACC action, after dropping a 5-2 match to Wake Forest last weekend. Clemson is 12-1 at home this season with ACC victories over Florida State, NC State and North Carolina.

In singles, sophomore Sander Koning leads the team in wins with a 23-8 overall record. Freshman Jarmaine Jenkins has posted a 22-6 overall record and 4-1 mark in the conference, while junior Damiisa Robinson has a 22-7 overall record and 21-6 record in dual matches.

In doubles, the Tigers’ duo of Nathan Thompson and Jenkins are 20-7 overall with conference wins over NC State, North Carolina and Wake Forest.

Clemson boasts a 22-12 all-time record and a 10-5 mark at home against the Yellow Jackets. The two teams last met in 2002, as the Tigers fell to Georgia Tech by a score of 6-1. The Yellow Jackets are 12-6 overall and 3-3 in ACC play, after defeating Middle Tennessee State on Sunday by a score of 4-3.
