CLEMSON, S.C. — The Clemson track and field program will have eight entries at the NCAA Outdoor Championship Meet from June 7-10 in Austin, Texas. The women’s team will have two entries while the ACC Champion men’s team will have six. The meet will be televised and streamed each day on ESPN2.

Clemson Men Entries

200 Meter Dash – Cameron Rose

Cameron Rose will be entered in three events at outdoor nationals, but the 200 meter dash is the lone individual event for the Clemson junior. The ACC Outdoor Track MVP ran a 20.35 at regionals to qualify for nationals.

800 Meter Run – Tarees Rhoden

Tarees Rhoden won the ACC Championship in the 800 meter run and qualified for nationals with a time of 1:49.70 at regionals.

110 Meter Run – Giano Roberts

The NCAA Champion in the 60 meter hurdles, Giano Roberts holds a 13.43 season best and ran a 13.49 at regionals to qualify for nationals. Last season, Giano finished fourth in the event at NCAA Championships.

4×100 Meter Relay

Giano Roberts, Cameron Rose, Guinove Joanus and Wanya McCoy make up the school record holding 4×100 relay team with a time of 38.69. The group ran a 39.36 in Jacksonville to punch its ticket to nationals.

4×400 Meter Relay

Cameron Rose, D’Andre Anderson, Tarees Rhoden and Aman Thornton ran an impressive 3:07.43 at regionals to advance to Austin. Clemson’s season best 3:02.25 in the event is a school record.

Javelin Throw – Ethan Cocco

Ethan Cocco threw a monster personal best of 70.64 meters in the javelin at regionals. That mark was five meters higher than his previous best and set the school record. He was the only thrower from the first or second flight at NCAA regionals to qualify for nationals.

Clemson Women Entries

400 Meter Hurdles – Lashanna Graham

Lashanna Graham ran a 57.55 in Jacksonville to advance to nationals. Her personal best 56.54 is third in school history and 16th in NCAA this season.

Hammer Throw – Marie Forbes

Marie Forbes’s personal best 64.91 in the hammer throw is third in school history and 21st in NCAA this season. She threw 64.47 meters to qualify for nationals.
