CARY, N.C. – The eighth-seeded Clemson Tigers (20-6, 8-5) are set to take on ninth-seeded North Carolina (13-10, 6-7) in the second round of the ACC Championships on Thursday, April 17 at the Cary Tennis Park. The match is slated for 3:30 p.m. ET.
The Tar Heels enter the match with a 4-0 sweep over Boston College in the first round of the tournament. Clemson faced North Carolina earlier in the regular season as they secured a 4-0 victory over the Tar Heels as it was their first win over the program since 2013 and the first time they swept the team since 1997.
The winner of the match will move on to the quarterfinals and face No. 1 Wake Forest on Friday, April 18.
