The Tigers are outscoring NC State 169-75 and have won 13 of the last 14 matches, including each of the last five. Last season, Clemson defeated the Wolfpack 2-0 on the road, and Clemson has not allowed a goal to NC State in any of the last five matches.
Tigers’ standout Ousmane Sylla has led the way for Clemson, scoring five goals and notching six assists in 13 matches thus far. He has tallied a point in eight of his 13 games played this season and is sixth in the ACC in points per game (1.23).
He is joined at the top of Clemson’s scoring leaderboard by senior forward Mohamed Seye, who has assisted three of Sylla’s goals. He and Sylla are both tied for third most assists in the conference with six.
