Men’s Track Ranks 12th in the Nation

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson men’s indoor track team is tied for a 12th-place national ranking, according to the poll released today by Trackwire.

The team is led by Shawn Crawford, the defending national champion indoors in the 200m. Crawford broke his own record for the Littlejohn Track and for the Clemson track program last weekend at the Clemson Invitational, winning the 300m in 33.59. He has already qualified provisionally for the 60m dash at the NCAA Championships.

Freshman Ato Modibo, from Beltsville, MD, broke the Littlejohn Track record and the Clemson school record in the 500m last weekend, taking first place with a time of 1:01.80. The previous record had stood since 1986.
