Blacksburg, VA – The Clemson men’s track & field team had a pair of performers post NCAA qualifying marks on the first day of the Virginia Tech Invitational. Jason Bell also posted a provisional mark at 15.70m in the triple jump.
In the 60m hurdles, Lydell Perry ran a 8.00 and Ryan Koontz ran an 8.03 to advance to the finals on Saturday. Brian Knapp ran 2:30.77 and 2:32.37, respectively, in the 1000m run.
The Tigers return to action Saturday at 12:00 PM.
