Men’s Tennis Preps for North Carolina

CLEMSON, SC — The Clemson men’s tennis team will play host to North Carolina Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. at the Hoke Sloan Tennis Center on the university’s campus.

Clemson’s Head Coach, Chuck Kriese now has 499 wins in his career as he is in his 24th season at Clemson. He could win his 500th match against North Carolina. With a win over North Carolina, Kriese would become only the 14th coach in collegiate tennis history to reach the 500 win plateau. Kriese currently has a 499-286 career record during his 24 years of coaching.

Clemson is 17-8 on the year, 4-0 in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Tar Heels have a 10-10 record overall and a 2-2 mark in the ACC.

This will be the 52nd meeting between Clemson and North Carolina on the tennis courts. The Tar Heels lead the overall series 33-18.
