Men’s Tennis Concludes Weekend at Mercer

Macon, Ga. – The Clemson men’s tennis team went 2-1 in singles on the final day of competition at the Mercer Invitational. The Tigers finish the weekend 12-5 mark in singles.

Senior Carlos Kelaidis and sophomore Jacob Jahn each ended the tournament with singles victories as Kelaidis overcame Murphy McCullough of Georgia Southern 7-5, 4-6 (10-4) and Jahn defeated Carver Arant of Mercer, 6-3,6-2.

Clemson is set to take the court again next weekend when they head to the Southern Intercollegiate Championships in Athens, Georgia.

Jacob Jahn def. Carver Arant (Mercer) – 6-3, 6-2

Carlos Kelaidis def. Murphy McCullough (Georgia Southern) – 7-5, 4-6 (10-4)

Antonio Selma (Troy) def. Mike Agee – 4-6, 6-0 (10-4)
