Men’s Swimming Fares Well at Auburn Invitational

AUBURN, Ala. – The Clemson men’s swimming team set two records last weekend at the Auburn Invitational. Alex Ioanovici swam the leadoff 50 free of the 200 free relay in 19.84, breaking the Clemson record of 20.11 set last season by Razvan Petcu. The 200 free relay team of Ioanovici, sophomore Tim Collis, junior Rob Etheridge and freshman Brett Walker set a new school record with a provisional qualifying time of 1:20.27. The old record of 1:20.58 was set in 1988 by Dave Hoydic, Mark Bridgers, Frank Clark and Mark Weber.
