Men’s Soccer to Play in NCAA’s Round of 16 Sunday

CLEMSON, SC–The Clemson men’s soccer team will play host to William & Mary Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. on the Tigers’ Riggs Field in the NCAA Tournament’s Round of 16.

The Tigers are 21-1 this season and are the Atlantic Coast Conference Champions. Clemson is playing in their 20th NCAA Tournament and have posted a 36-18 record over the years in the NCAA Tournament. The Tigers won the National Championship in 1984 and 1987. Clemson is also seeded first in the 32-team field and are ranked first in all the major soccer polls.

William and Mary will enter the match with a 15-7-2 record overall. The Tribe is led in scoring by Luke Bockelman with nine goals. Brian Hinkey has seven goals and six assists for William & Mary.

Wojtek Krakowiak leads the Tigers in scoring with 68 points, 30 goals and eight assists. Mark Lisi leads the team in assists with 17. Scott Bower has 16 assists.

The winner of Clemson-William & Mary match will play the winner of the Indiana-Butler match.
