Men’s Soccer Defeats UNC-Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Wojtek Krakowiak scored both goals in leading third-ranked Clemson to a 2-0 win over UNC-Charlotte in a men’s intecollegiate soccer match at Charlotte, NC Wednesday night.

With the win, Clemson improves to 14-1 overall, while UNC-Charlotte falls to 9-4-1 this season. Clemson has won nine matches in a row.

Clemson is ranked third in the Soccer America poll and fourth in the NSCAA poll.

Clemson will play host to Furman Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the Tigers’ next action.

The Tigers’ goalkeeper, Josh Campbell played in goal for the Tigers and picked up his sixth solo shoutout this season. Campbell has allowed only eight goals this season.
