Men’s Cross Country Claims Clemson Invitational/S.C. Collegiate Title

Clemson, SC – The Tiger cross country team won the 13th annual Clemson Invitational, as well as the South Carolina collegiate championship, on Saturday. Clemson pulled out a close victory over Charlotte, as the Tigers tallied 43 points and the 49ers posted 50 points. Georgia finished third with 76 team points. It marked the fourth consecutive first-place finish for Clemson in this event.

Individually, junior Greg Isaacs, a junior, finished eighth overall and third in the South Carolina collegiate (25:34).

Clay Pendleton, the only senior on Clemson’s team, finished 13th overall and fifth in the state collegiate with a time of 25:42. Sean Reilly completed the Tiger scoring on Saturday, finishing 15th overall with a time of 25:45.
