  • Clemson opens postseason action in the first round of the NIVC Tournament in Lynchburg, Va. against Toledo
  • The Tigers take a 13-17 overall record into the weekend after dropping the final match of the regular season in four sets at Wake Forest last Friday
  • As a team, Clemson sits 51st in team assists (1,421) in the NCAA
  • In the ACC, the Tigers hold the top spot in digs (1,676) and total attacks (4,146) as of November 28

NIVC History

  • Clemson’s first appearance in the NIVC was in 2018
  • The Tigers made the quarterfinals after defeating Alabama A&M and Radford before ultimately falling to the College of Charleston
  • The 2018 postseason marked the first time Clemson had a postseason victory since the Tigers defeated Tennessee in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in 2008

ACC Selections

  • The conference office announced that three Tigers earned ACC postseason honors on Monday – marks the most Tigers to earn postseason honors since 2018
  • Mckenna Slavik: Second Team All-ACC – first time earning All-ACC honors
  • Camryn Hannah: Second Team All-ACC – previously selected to Second Team All-ACC and ACC All-Freshman team in 2020-21
  • Mia McGrath: ACC All-Freshman – first All-ACC honor

Slavik Assists

  • Slavik has been the quarterback of Clemson volleyball’s offense for the past four seasons
  • She surpassed 3,500 career assists vs. Boston College to become the seventh Tiger to accomplish the feat
  • This season, Slavik has 1,065 assists to sit third in the conference and 67th in the NCAA – she also leads the conference with 10.34 assists per set (45th in the NCAA)

Digging Devan

  • Sophomore Devan Taylor has started at libero in every match this season
  • The sophomore set a new career-high with 29 digs to open ACC play this season against Virginia Tech
  • Taylor has tallied 24 double-digit dig matches this season and has tallied 20+ digs in eight matches
  • She leads the team and the conference with 481 total digs and is 76th in the NCAA

Cam Can

  • Hannah is seventh in the conference in kills (382) and ninth in kills per set (3.44) 
  • She’s tallied at least 20 attacks in 24 matches this season and had 19 matches with double-digit kills

Mia’s Magic

  • McGrath has tallied five double-doubles this season
  • She has 206 kills on the year with 231 digs – also has 26 aces, 24 assists, 12 blocks and 240.5 points
