  • Clemson hits the road for the first time during the 2022 regular season
  • The Tigers will face USC Upstate, host ETSU and Georgia State during the Buccaneer Classic
  • Clemson is coming off a victory over in-state rival South Carolina on Tuesday night
  • This weekend marks the beginning of a two-week road stretch for the Tigers


  • Clemson last hit the court on Tuesday, Sept. 6 taking on South Carolina in the Palmetto Series presented by S.C. Education Lottery
  • The Tigers defeated the Gamecocks, 3-2, for the first win against South Carolina since 2014 and the first win at home since 2013


  • Junior Camryn Hannah has stepped up to the role of being Clemson’s go-to attacker
  • Hannah ranks in the top-40 in the NCAA and second in the conference in: Points (120.5 – 11th), Kills (103 – 14th) and Attacks (250 – 40th)
  • She’s tallied at least 20 attacks in every match this season and leads the program in kills
  • Most recently, she led the Tigers with 24 kills against South Carolina


  • The Tigers have seen strong performances come from players off the bench
  • Freshman Sophie Catalano has made an immediate impact clocking eight aces in the last four games. She has at least one ace in five matches this season
  • Another impact player off the bench is sophomore Azyah Dailey. Dailey finished with 32 kills through 13 sets at the Clemson Invitational while also adding five blocks
  • Freshman Becca Micelle also provides a spark for the Tigers with 49 digs through the first seven matches of 2022


  • Seniors Ani Clark and Mckenna Slavik provide necessary leadership to the Tigers rotation
  • Clark has appeared in over 70 matches and recorded 422 kills with 181 career blocks
  • She sits second in the conference this season with a .556 hitting percentage
  • Slavik has played in 82 matches and tallied 2,926 assists to sit seventh in Clemson history
  • She leads the conference with 11.00 assists per set this season


  • Sophomore Devan Taylor has started at libero in every match this season
  • Taylor finsished with a career-best 28 digs against South Carolina on Tuesday
  • Against Austin Peay, Taylor tallied 27 digs surpassing her previous best of 24 set against Virginia last season
  • She leads the team and the conference with 135 digs – this also ranks seventh in the NCAA
