CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson men’s soccer (5-2-2) program is back at Historic Riggs Field to face off with Elon (5-1-4) Saturday night.. The Tigers and Phoenix will kickoff at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on ACCNX.
Nathan Richmond netted his first career brace Friday night at No. 13 Wake Forest. Richmond scored the first and match-winning goal to earn ACC Offensive Player of the Week. Ransford Gyan and Lukas Magnason scored to add to the Tigers’ 4-3 win over the Demon Deacons. Gyan is now tied for sixth in the nation with eight goals this season through nine matches.
Clemson and Elon will face off for the ninth time in program history. The Tigers and Phoenix last met in 2015 and Clemson took home the win 5-2. The Tigers lead the all-time series 3-3-2 and are on a one-match win streak.
