Mackiewicz, Morris Named United Soccer Coaches All-Americans

CLEMSON, S.C. – For the first time in their careers, Halle Mackiewicz and Makenna Morris earned All-America honors. Both seniors earned a spot on the Second Team, as voted by the United Soccer Coaches.

Mackiewicz and Morris are the fourth and fifth Tigers in program history to earn All-America honors.

Both Mackiewicz and Morris continue to add more accolades to their resumes as the two Tigers have had an impressive senior season on the pitch. Mackiewicz, who was named ACC Goalkeeper of the Year, earned All-ACC First Team and secured a spot on the ACC All-Tournament team, is one of three goalkeepers in the nation to be named an All-American.

Named to the All-Atlantic Region First Team, Mackiewicz leads the nation in shutouts with 13, setting a new program record for single season clean sheets at Clemson.

Leading the Tigers in points (26) and goals (10), Morris adds another honor to her resume this season. Along with being named an All-American, Morris was named to the All-ACC First Team and was listed on the All-Atlantic Region First Team.
