Clemson, S.C. – Clemson netminder Sandy MacIver signed her first professional contract, announced by the Everton Women on Thursday. MacIver graduated from Clemson in December and joins the Blues on an 18-month plan bringing her through June 2021.
MacIver is coming off a 2019 season that brought her first senior England call up, a shutout victory over South Carolina and a second round finish in the NCAA Tournament after her penalty kick save propelled the Tigers to the next round of competition.
The Winsford native returns home to join Everton as they continue their quest in the highly coveted FA Super League which includes the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea.
