Stadium Security Measures – Please Arrive Early
Metal detector screening procedures are in effect at all gates at Memorial Stadium in 2019. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and listen to security personnel. Gates are scheduled to open two and a half hours before kick on Aug. 29. The clear bag policy enters its 4th season, and requires all items brought into the stadium to fit in a clear bag no larger than 12” wide x 12” tall by 6” deep. Parking Lots Open at 8 a.m. for Thursday’s football game vs. Georgia Tech
Gates Open at 5:30 p.m.
Fans can enter Memorial Stadium two and a half hours before kick for this game. This is 30 minutes earlier than in the past. At this time, this is for the Georgia Tech game only.
Tiger Walk scheduled for 5:50 p.m.
Now in its 11th year, the team’s initial entrance into the stadium from the west in Lot 5 takes place two hours and ten minutes before kick.
Special-Edition Pregame Show with College Gameday commentators emanates live from Memorial Stadium
Rece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso, Desmond Howard and Maria Taylor of ESPN College Gameday will be inside Gate 5 in the northeast corner of Death Valley previewing the game from 6-8 p.m. The show is scheduled to be simulcast on ESPN and ACCN from 6-7 p.m., and moves to ACCN exclusively from 7-8 p.m., leading up to kickoff. The show will NOT take place on Bowman Field. This is a “special edition” show, and fans are encouraged to enter the stadium early and get to their seats to create a fantastic atmosphere for a national audience.
Limited Single Game Tickets Available
A limited number of tickets are available for the Georgia Tech contest at ClemsonTigers.com/footballtix. The game is designated at the National Championship Celebration, and new signage will be unveiled. The Texas A&M game (Sept. 7) and Charlotte game (Sept. 21) are sold out. First football game on ACCN
When Clemson and Georgia Tech square off on Aug. 29, it will be the first live football game to air on ACC Network. ACCN launch date is Aug. 22.
