CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson women’s track and field team completed competition at the Clemson Classic held this weekend at the Clemson Indoor Track and Field Facility. Jelyn Quick and Gisele Oliveira were also event winners for Clemson.
In the 400m, Jelyn Quick was the top collegiate finisher in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.51, and Marquita Dortch was the third-place finisher with a time of 8.73.
In the field events, Pickett won the high jump with her season-best mark of 1.75m/5’8.75″. Gisele Oliveira led three Lady Tigers in the long jump, winning the event with a mark of 5.82m/19’1″. Michelle Rogers was the runner-up with a leap of 11.82/38’9.5″ and Della Clark placed fourth in the shot put with a season-best mark of 12.91m/42’4.25″.
The Clemson women’s track and field team returns to action next weekend at the Iowa State Last Chance Meet.
