CLEMSON, S.C. – Defensive tackle Grady Jarrett was named to All-Bowl teams by AP and NFL.com for his performance in the Tigers’ 40-6 Russell Athletic Bowl victory over No. 24 Oklahoma on December 29.
Jarrett, who graduated in December, had a career-high 3.5 tackles for loss in Clemson’s victory. He also added a caused fumble and quarterback pressure, as the Tigers held Oklahoma 32 points under its season average.
The Conyers, Ga. native finished the season with 73 tackles, tied for third-most on the team, and totaled 10 tackles for loss, tied for fourth-most on the squad. He added 12 quarterback pressures, second-most on the team.
Jarrett was a major reason Clemson led the nation in 11 statistical categories this year, including total defense, pass efficiency defense, yards per play allowed, tackles for loss and first downs allowed.
