Winston-Salem, N.C. – The Clemson men’s tennis team wrapped up its weekend at the Wake Forest Invitational on Sunday. Sophomore Jacob Jahn was crowned the B Singles flight champion after defeating Carlos Kelaidis, 6-3, 6-2, in an all-Tiger final.
Pierre-Louis Dodens and Yizhou Liu also notched singles victories in the final day of action. Dodens held on to a 6-4, 7-6 (5) decision over Wofford’s Omar Williams while Liu outlasted Coastal Carolina’s Gonzalo Achondo who was forced to retire one game into the second set.
Additionally, Dodens/Jahn and Teodor Guisca/Kelaidis earned doubles victories to wrap up the tournament, taking 6-2 and 6-3 decisions, respectively.
With the conclusion of the Wake Forest Invitational, the Tigers have completed their fall schedule. Clemson will open up its spring competition season on January 18th, 2020, when it hosts Furman and Wofford.
