Clemson head women’s basketball coach Itoro Coleman and her husband Harold welcomed Jasmine Chanice to their family on Friday, Nov. 5. Jasmine is a healthy 7 pounds, 11 ounces and was born at 1:21 pm. She joins sisters Jada (6) and Jordyn (1).
“The Coleman family is extremely excited about our new addition, Jasmine Chanice,” said Coleman. “My husband Harold and I have anxiously awaited her arrival and can’t put into words the joy we feel at the sight of our baby girl. We are grateful that there were no complications and Jasmine is completely healthy. I look forward to spending time bonding with Jasmine during my leave of absence.”
Coleman is currently away from the team on a standard doctor-recommended leave of absence. There is no timetable for her return at this moment, but she hopes to be back by the end of November.
Clemson opens the season on Nov. 12 at 5:30 pm against UNC Greensboro.
