CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson Tigers are set to kick off 2024 by hosting the Clemson Invitational beginning on Friday, Jan. 12 and concluding on Saturday, Jan. 13. The meet will begin at 2 p.m. on Friday and pause at 4:35 p.m., and continue at 10:30 a.m.on Saturday with its conclusion coming after the men’s 4×400 relay at 2:35 p.m. 

Alongside Clemson, 13 schools will be competing in this weekend’s meet, including notable programs such as Georgia, Cornell and Furman. Joining the Tigers will also be ACC foe, Georgia Tech. The Clemson Invitational marks the Tigers second meet of the season and the second indoor event Clemson has hosted.

The Tigers will be looking to build off an impressive showing at the Clemson Opener in December. Multiple athletes secured their places in the all-time top 10 lists, including freshman Blaik Slavinski who set the new record in the men’s 1000m with a finish of 2:20.52. Following their successful performances at the Clemson Opener, six athletes earned ACC Performer of the Week honors as Cameron Rose, Ken’Naria Gadson, Daniel Cope, Shantae Foreman, Blaik Slavinski and Kendra Dye all secured weekly honors.

Admission to the meet is free to the public, with parking available in Jervey Meadows.
