CLEMSON, S.C. – The Tigers are set to hit the road for the first time this indoor season as they head to College Station, Texas to compete in the Ted Nelson Invitational. The meet begins with the field events at 10 a.m., followed by track events starting at 2 p.m.
Including Clemson, five programs are set to compete on Saturday including Arizona State, Houston, Tennessee, Texas A&M and South Carolina.
The indoor season has proved exceptional for the Tigers as athletes on the men’s and women’s side have set new program records and earned top-10 marks.
For the women, Shantae Foreman is ranked third in the nation in the triple jump with a jump of 13.39m and Marie Forbes is ranked No. 4 in the weight throw with a mark of 22.20m. For the men, the 4×400 relay team of Cameron Rose, Daniel Kidd, D’Andre Anderson and Tarees Rhoden currently holds the second best finish in the nation as they finished the event with a time of 3:07.59 at the Clemson Invitational.
