Holder, Clemson Fourth After Round One of Clover Cup

Litchfield Park, Ariz. – Chloe Holder shot a two-under-par 68 and the Clemson women’s golf team currently sits tied for fourth after the first round of the 2025 Clover Cup, hosted at the Wigwam Resort. The Tigers shot +2 as a team to finish the first round tied with tournament-host Notre Dame. 

Holder, a native of Anderson, S.C., turned in five birdies on the day, including three-straight on holes 3-5 to sit alone in fourth place. Katherine Schuster and Sydney Roberts each finished the day at +1 to tie for 14th, while Melena Barrientos finished at +2 (22nd). Juliette Demeaux rounded out the Tigers lineup with a +9 finish, while Ivy Schulze finished the round at +4 while playing as an individual. 

Arizona State finished the first round at -6 to sit alone at the top of the leaderboard, followed by Texas A&M at -2 and Indiana at even. Clemson and Notre Dame round out the top five at +2.
