CLEMSON, S.C. â The 2023-24 Clemson Tigers womenâs basketball team wraps up its opening week by hosting the Mercer Bears in Littlejohn Coliseum. The game will tip off at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 12 and can be seen on ACCNX.
The Tigers (2-0) have won each of their opening games by 30 points, and are averaging 78 points per game. Clemson has been led by grad student Amari Robinson who is averaging 21.5 ppg and 7.5 rpg. Mackenzie Kramer provided a 20-point spark off the bench in Fridayâs win against Charleston Southern. In the same game, Dayshanette Harris recorded Clemsonâs first points-assists double-double (10 points, 10 assists) since 2007.
In addition to the talent on this yearâs squad, the Tigers have signed two new players to their history-making signing class this Wednesday. Clemson signed five-star guard Imari Berry, the number 13 player in the country per ESPN. Berry is also the highest-rated signee in Clemson womenâs basketball history. The Tigers are also excited to announce the signing of Morgan Miller, a 6-2 forward from Minnesota who averaged over 12 points per game in her junior season.
CU is led by Amanda Butler who is in her sixth season at the helm of the Tiger program. She recorded her 300th win as a head coach in Mondayâs 71-41 victory against Winthrop.
Clemson owns a 6-2 record against Charleston Southern and is looking to start a season 3-0 for the second consecutive year.
