CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson Tigers Womenâs Basketball team (11-10, 4-6) heads north to Massachusetts where it will take on the Boston College Eagles (12-11, 3-7). This is the 23rd overall meeting between the two schools, the Tigers and the Eagles split the season series last year.
Tipoff is set for 2:00 p.m. in BCâs Conte Forum. The game can be seen on ACCNX with Josh Maurer and Eric Gallanty on the call. It can also be heard on the Clemson Athletic Network with William Qualkinbush and Faxon Childress on the broadcast.
After going 1-1 last week including a historic 16-point comeback against the Miami Hurricanes, Clemson had an off day this past Thursday as it prepared for this weekendâs game against the Eagles. Boston College was in action and fell to No. 24 Florida State by a score of 104-80.
Loyal McQueen has played in and started every game for the Tigers this season, averaging career highs in scoring (13.9 ppg), rebounds (3.3 rpg), assists (5.0 apg), and shooting (.425/.412/.840). Mia Moore has been a major contributor for the Tigers this season, as well, chipping in 11.4 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest, both of which are second-highest on the team. Moore is also shooting a career high of 39.5% from beyond the arc.
The number one shooter in the transfer portal this past offseason was Hannah Kohn. With 55 made three pointers on the year, Kohn ranks third in the ACC and 23rd in the nation for most three pointers. With four made three pointers in her last game, Kohn stays on pace to finish with one of the most successful shooting seasons in Clemson history.
The Eagles are led offensively by Tâyana Todd who is putting up 13.6 points per game. BCâs Teya Sidberry put up 28 points and 10 rebounds in their last game against Florida State.
