CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson Tigers Womenâs Basketball team (11-11, 4-7) travels to Durham N.C. to take on the No. 10 Duke Blue Devils (17-5, 8-2) in an ACC matchup on Thursday.
Tipoff is set for 7:00 p.m. in Dukeâs Cameron Indoor Stadium. The game can be seen on ACCNX with Drew Linke and Debbie Taylor on the call. It can also be heard on the Clemson Athletic Network with William Qualkinbush and Faxon Childress on the broadcast.
In Clemsonâs game against Duke last year in Littlejohn Coliseum, the Tigers won 80-64 and controlled the game throughout. This yearâs Tigers look to rebound after their two games last week and get back to their winning ways.
Loyal McQueen is the only player to have played and started every game for Clemson this season, and she leads the Tigers with 13.4 points per game and is also averaging a team-high and career-high of 4.9 assists per game. Sheâs also shooting career highs across the board (.421/.412/.831). Sheâs joined in the backcourt by the electric Mia Moore who has contributed in every facet of the game, ranking second on the team in scoring (11.2 ppg) and rebounding (5.6 rpg).
Hannah Kohn, the number one shooter who entered the transfer portal last offseason, continues her red-hot shooting and ranks 22nd in the country with 60 made three-point field goals. Tessa Miller, another transfer that the Tigers signed from the portal, had one of her best games in the orange and regalia, scoring a season-high 19 points and grabbing five rebounds in Clemsonâs most recent outing.
