RALEIGH, N.C. – The Clemson Tigers women’s basketball team (8-4, 1-0) is back resumes ACC play with its final road trip of 2024 to face the No. 22 North Carolina State Wolfpack (9-3, 1-0).

The game will tip off at 6:00 p.m. and can be seen on ACC Network with Jenn Hildreth and Clemson alumna Kelly Gramlich on the call. It can also be heard on 105.5 The Roar or the Clemson Tigers app with William Qualkinbush and Faxon Childress on the broadcast.

Clemson has been one of the best rebounding teams in the nation. As a group, the Tigers have a 79.1% defensive rebound rate (amount of defensive rebounds available) which leads the nation. The Tigers’ total rebound rate (57%) is 17th-best in the country. With a +9.5 rebound margin, Clemson is fourth-best in the ACC at outrebounding its opponents.

The Tigers enter the contest with scorching shooting percentages over their last few games. Led by Hannah Kohn, Clemson is shooting a red-hot 45.6% from beyond the arc over their last three games. Kohn leads the Tigers by shooting 60% (12-20) over that time frame, with Mia Moore also shooting 57% from outside. For the season, Clemson is shooting nearly 37% as a team which ranks 23rd-best in the nation.

Kohn’s unreal shooting has been a catalyst for Clemson’s offense. In the Tigers’ last three games – which include wins in the ACC opener against Wake Forest and a victory against Hawaii – Kohn is averaging 12.7 points per game and contributing 2.3 rebounds. Kohn currently ranks fourth in the ACC with 31 made three-point shots and 2.6 three pointers per game. The sharpshooter tied her season high with 15 points in the Tigers’ victory over the Rainbow Wahine, and tied her career high with five made three-point baskets.

Another spark for the Tigers off the bench has been Summah Evans who has strung together her best stretch of basketball this season. The all-around forward has shot a .516/.353/1.000 slash over her last three games and has led the Tigers with 13.3 points per game over that same time frame. Evans scored a season-high 16 points in Clemson’s win against Hawaii.

Loyal McQueen has had a career year thus far. The Florence, S.C. native is averaging career highs in points per game (13.7), field goal percentage (45.6%), three-point percentage (50%), rebounds per game (3.5) and assists per game (5.5). Her assist totals rank among the best in the nation where she ranks 25th in total assists (66) and assist percentage (36.9%).
