CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson Tigers womenâs basketball team resumes its longest homestand of the season by hosting the Georgia State Panthers on Saturday, December 16 at 2 p.m. in Littlejohn Coliseum.
Clemson is 5-2 all-time against Georgia State, Amanda Butlerâs teams are 2-0 overall against the Panthers. Saturdayâs game can be seen on ACCNX, Fred Cunningham and Jim Davis will be on the call for the TV broadcast, Tony Ciuffo and Faxon Childress can be heard on the radio broadcast on the Clemson Tigers app.
The Tigers improved to 6-4 (1-0) following their 80-64 win over Duke last week. Clemson is undefeated in Littlejohn Coliseum this year where the Tigers are putting up over 85 points per game. CU has scored at least 80 points in four of its five home games thus far this season. At home, Clemson has won its five home games by an average of 27.8 points per game and the Tigers have shot 37% from outside.
Clemsonâs three-point shooting in LJC has improved in every home game this year, culminating in last weekâs 11-18 (.611) bombarding against the Blue Devils.
Fans who had tickets to Clemson’s game against Duke will receive free admission to Saturday’s game.
