  • Sophomores Regan Spencer and Millie Thompson threw Clemson’s first combined no-hitter against Kent State, a five-inning run-rule victory.
  • Sophomore McKenzie Clark hit the program’s first inside the park home run against Akron on Feb. 26 dropping the ball into right center. She was fast enough that she was able to cross home plate without having to slide.
  • Freshman Aby Vieira recorded her first collegiate home run with a grand slam out of right center against Akron. The grand slam was Clemson’s first of the season.
  • Freshman Maddie Moore hit her first collegiate homer on Saturday with a two-run shot out of left field against Boston University.
  • Graduate Marissa Guimbarda recorded her 50th and 51st collegiate home runs last weekend hitting homers in back-to-back games against Charlotte and Boston U.
  • Guimbarda becomes the 196th player in NCAA Division I history to hit 50+ homers during her collegiate career and sits fifth on the NCAA active player list.
