CLEMSON, S.C. – After their historic tournament run, four Tigers have earned Top Drawer Soccer postseason awards as announced on Wednesday.
All-American star goalkeeper Halle Mackiewicz earned a spot on the Best XI First Team and All-American defender Makenna Morris was named to the Best XI Second Team. Freshman’s Dani Davis and Jenna Tobia both earned spots on the Freshman Best XI First Team.
Mackiewicz, who impressed all season long for the Tigers has earned a multitude of honors and awards in her senior campaign. In addition to being named on the Best XI First Team, the keeper was also named to the All-America Second Team, was crowned ACC Goalkeeper of the Year and was listed to the ACC All-First Team and ACC All-Tournament Team.
Topping the Tigers in goals (10) and points (26), star defender Morris adds another accolade to her name in her senior season at Clemson. Alongside Mackiewicz, Morris was also named to the All-America Second Team and secured a spot on the ACC All-First Team.
In their first season on the pitch for the Tigers, both Davis and Tobia shined all-season long as they were both key players for Clemson. Davis, who was an essential part of the Tigers back line, finished out the year with 10 points and eight assists. Tobia also finished out the season with 8 assists and netted four goals for Clemson. In addition to being named to the Freshman Best XI First Team, both newcomers were named to ACC All-Freshman Team.
