Former Lady Tiger Cydonie Mothersill Competes at 18th Annual Commonwealth Games

Melbourne, Australia – Former Lady Tiger track star Cydonie Mothersill competed in the 18th annual Commonwealth Games this month and was fourth in the 200m dash final. The Commonwealth Games, which first took place in 1930 in Canada, featured 71 nations competing from around the world.

Mothersill, a two-time National Champion at Clemson, turned in a time of 23.01 in the finals of the 200m to place fourth. Mothersill won the indoor 200m national championship for Clemson in 2001, and then won the 4x400m event with a Lady Tiger outdoor team that same year. The Cayman Islands native was a three-time All-American at Clemson.
