Former Clemson Sprinter Jacey Harper Earns Silver Medal at IAAF World Championships

Former Clemson track and field athlete Jacey Harper was part of the 4x100m relay team from Trinidad & Tobago that earned a silver medal at the IAAF World Championships from Helsinki, Finland. Harper ran third leg of the event, helping the team to a time of 38.10 and runner-up finish to France in a close, exciting race.

Harper lettered at Clemson from 2000-03 and earned two All-America certificates as part of the Tigers’ relay program. Harper won 10 ACC Championships while at Clemson, which is third all-time amongst Tiger track and field performers. Harper was part of the 4x100m and 4x400m relay teams in 2002 that still hold the school record currently. He was a 2000 Olympic Games participant for Trinidad & Tobago.
