Clemson Personnel Update:

Will Merritt, OG, Starting offensive guard who has been injured since suffering a broken collarbone on September 17th. Returned the practice this week and has been cleared by Clemson doctors to see action at Wake Forest.

Brandon Streeter, QB, Starting quarterback has been out due broken collarbone suffered against North Carolina on October 2. He returned to practice this week and has been cleared to play by Clemson physicians.

T.J. Watkins, OT, Starting offensive tackle who suffered a bruised knee against Florida State. Returned to practice on Wednesday of this past week. Probable to start against Wake Forest.

Other Notes:

Rod Gardner has had the longest receptions of his last two seasons against Wake Forest, a 41-yard TD catch at Wake Forest in 1997 and a 63-yard catch on the first possession of last year’s game…Gardner is 9th in the nation in receptions per game this week…Clemson has won four of the last five meetings against Wake Forest, but Wake Forest won last year at Clemson…Wake Forest running back Morgan Kane has two 100-yard rushing games against the Tigers, but both took place at Clemson…Clemson is 3-0 this year in day games, 0-4 in night games…Brian Wofford needs eight receptions to move into a tie with former teammate Tony Horne for fourth place on Clemson’s career reception list…Wofford has 112 and Horne had 120 between 1994-97…Clemson has averaged 273.5 passing yards per game against Wake Forest over the last four seasons.
