Clemson, SC–The Clemson Athletic Department has announced that the Maryland football game on October 14 has been designated Homecoming/Parents’ Day. The time of that game will not be determined until 12 days prior to the contest.
Clemson also announced that September 2 season opener against the Citadel will kickoff at 6:00, PM and will be designated IPTAY/Tiger Cub Club Day. The contest with The Citadel is the only start time that is known at this time. Game times for the first four contests of the year should be known by mid-July, while the rest of the kickoffs will be determined 12 days prior to the game.
The Missouri contest on September 9 has been designated Hall of Fame Day, while the September 16 Wake Forest game will be Youth Day. The NC State game on October 7 will be the Textile Bowl and Bowl Reunion Day, while the Georgia Tech game on October 28 will be Tiger Pride Day.
Ticket prices for the 2000 season will remain the same. All home games will be $25 with the exception of the South Carolina ticket, which will be $32.
Clemson will play seven home games this year, including each of the first three contests. This is the first time since 1991 that Clemson will play its first three games at home.
