Five Tigers To Try Out For USA Volleyball’s Collegiate National Team

The tryout will be held in Colorado Springs March 1-3

CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson University volleyball players Brooke Bailey, Emily Curtis, Gabby Easton, Madi Howell and Solei Thomas have been invited to try out for USA Volleyball’s Collegiate National Team. The tryout, which featured Bailey, Howell and Kaylin Korte last year, will take place at U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado March 1-3.


Brooke Bailey on being invited:
“We are incredibly blessed and lucky to have the opportunity to play with some of the best athletes in the country. This is an amazing experience to not only get a ton of reps, but also meet new people, learn from other universities, and get a taste of what goes on in the USA Volleyball national-team gym.”

Emily Curtis on being invited:
“I am honored to go to the USA tryout especially because it is my last year. I’m excited to get great touches on the ball and train with other amazing athletes.”

Gabby Easton on being invited:
“I am extremely excited and thankful for this opportunity! Thank you to my team and coaching staff for always pushing me to improve. Go Tigers!”

Madi Howell on being invited:
“I am very excited to get the opportunity to play in an elite level gym with some of the best college volleyball athletes in the nation. It will be a great experience and learning opportunity for us.”

Solei Thomas on being invited:
“I am thankful for this God-given opportunity to be surrounded by some of the best volleyball players and coaches and go out there and represent Clemson Volleyball.”
