Exclusive Breast Cancer Awareness Tiger Paw Pins Available October 1

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson University athletic department and head coach Dabo Swinney‘s All In Team Foundation, along with Coca-Cola Consolidated, OOBE and St. Francis Hospital, have unveiled the exclusive 2013 Breast Cancer Awareness Tiger Paw pin, which will be available for sale to the general public beginning Oct. 1, the first day of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The 2013 Breast Cancer Awareness Tiger Paw pin is now available at the Official Online Store of Clemson Athletics on ClemsonTigers.com, as well as locally at Tiger Town Graphics in downtown Clemson and at the Barnes & Noble bookstore on the Clemson campus.  The Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority is coordinating sales on campus by the Clemson Greek Community and student organizations. On football game-days, the Breast Cancer Awareness Tiger Paw pins will be available in the novelty stands at Memorial Stadium, the WestZone store and the Littlejohn Coliseum store.

The Clemson football team will wear the same pins during Tiger Walk for all October home games, as will coaches on the sideline during all October games.

“We are so thankful to Clemson and our sponsors for partnering with the Foundation for Clemson’s first ever Breast Cancer Awareness game,” said Kathleen Swinney.  “All of the funds from our annual Ladies Clinic and the sale of the Breast Cancer Awareness Tiger Paw pins will go directly to support breast cancer research at Clemson and Anderson Universities, as well as to the St. Francis Hospital Mobile Mammography Unit which provides screening services throughout the Upstate.”

Since 2009, Dabo’s All In Team Foundation has donated or pledged over $800,000 in support of its mission to raise awareness of critical education and health issues in order to change lives of people across the State of South Carolina.  One of the Foundation’s areas of focus is breast cancer research and prevention.  Clemson Athletics will celebrate its first ever Breast Cancer Awareness Football Game October 19 against Florida State.
